Hokkokai (北工会) Sports Day 2016
We participated the annual Sports Day as members of Course of Media and Network Technologies on 24 June. Mr. Imai won 1st place in the 80-meter dash won a prize. As for relay, Dr. Imagawa and Mr. Imai appeared as registered players of our course. Unfortunately, we could not go to the relay final stage.

On 23 Mar, we had a graduation party.
Degree Conferral Ceremony and Graduation Party 2016 (Fiscal Year 2015)
On 24 Mar., the degree conferral ceremony of Course/Division of Media Network Technologies was held. Graduation celebration party was also held at 11-17, IST Building. Hokkokai (北工会) Tug-of-War Tournament 2016
Assoc. Prof. Tsutsui, Dr. Imagawa, and Mr Imai participated, as members of Division of Media and Network Technologies (MN), Hokkokai (北工会) Tug-of-War Tournament held on Jan 22 in front of the Engineering Building. Tug-of-war game has been carried out in snow. Unfortunately, our MN team was defeated in first round partially due to insufficient number of our MN team members.
Welcoming and Celebrating Party
On November 10, drinking party was held as welcoming party for new members of our laboratory (Mr. Mathias Bodner and Mr. Chien-Hao Huang) and celebrating party for those who passed entrance examination.

Introduction of Our Course for Freshmen (Sep. 2015)
A course introduction for freshmen was held on September 25. We think it is nice if we can tell about the fascination of the Course of Media and Network Technologies for the course assignment.
28th Workshop on Circuits and Systems, Summer Research Trial for Elementary and Junior High School Students
At the 28th Workshop on Circuits and Systems, which was held in Aug. 3rd to 4th at Awaji Yumebutai International Conference Center, Assoc. Prof. Tsutsui was in charge of a topic of Summer Research Trial for Elementary and Junior-High Students, with Dr. Yuki Arikawa (NTT) and Prof. Jaehoon Yu (Osaka University). The topic was “Calculator design using logic ICs – Let’s make your own calculator”. The topic and its content is same as the previous version, which was organized by Prof. Takeshi Matsumoto (Ishikawa National College of Technology) and Dr. Kohei Hosokawa (NEC).

BBQ Party 2015
On 28th July, we held a BBQ party at the university campus as a farewell party for three international students from Thailand and a welcome party for Dr. Gengfa Fang and Dr. Jantana Panyavaraporn.
