On Feb. 9, we held a meeting of AUN/SEED-Net CRI (Collaborative Research Program with Industry) with Prof. Supavadee Aramvith (Chulalongkorn University, Thailand), utilizing a group Hangout with Prof. Takao Onoye (Osaka University), Prof. Rhandley D. Cajote (University of the Philippines Diliman), Mr. Watchara Ruangsang (Chulalongkorn University, Thailand).

Hokkokai (北工会) Tug-of-War Tournament 2016

Assoc. Prof. Tsutsui, Dr. Imagawa, and Mr Imai participated, as members of Division of Media and Network Technologies (MN), Hokkokai (北工会) Tug-of-War Tournament held on Jan 22 in front of the Engineering Building. Tug-of-war game has been carried out in snow. Unfortunately, our MN team was defeated in first round partially due to insufficient number of our MN team members.

Asia-Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association, Annual Summit and Conference 2015 (APSIPA ASC 2015)

This year’s APSIPA ASC is the first ASC held at the area where APSIPA’s HQ locates, that is Hong Kong. In 2016 and 2017, APSIPA ASC will be held in Jeju Island and Malaysia, respectively. As for APSIPA ASC 2016, please refer the APSIPA ASC 2016 CFP for the details such as important dates, which is a scaned version of the distributed CFP at APSIPA 2015 venue.
