From July 27, an intensive course entitled “The Future of Mobile Networks: 5G and Beyond” will start. This course is organized as Advanced Lectures in Media and Network Technology II (2015) by Division of Media and Network Technologies. At International Workshop on Recent Trends in Signal Processing (RTSP 2015) held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, from 6th to 7th July, Prof. Miyanaga made a plenary speech. At International Symposium on Signals, Circuits and Systems (ISSCS 2015) held in Iasi, Romania. From 9th to 10th July, Prof. Miyanaga made a plenary talk and oral presentation of our research achievement.

We took part in the annual Sports Day as members of Course of Media and Network Technologies. Mr. Imai who participated in the 80-meter dash finished 2nd place and won a prize (fried noodles).

On Dec. 13th, IEICE-ESS Practice Seminar for Scholarly Publishing was held at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Prof. Miyanaga gave a lecture in this seminar with Prof. Akira Taguchi (Tokyo City University) and Prof. Takao Onoye (Osaka University).
