In 2015 International Workshop on Smart Info-Media Systems in Asia (SISA 2015) held at Narashino, Prof. Yoshikazu Miyanaga presented our research achievement.
At the 28th Workshop on Circuits and Systems, which was held in Aug. 3rd to 4th at Awaji Yumebutai International Conference Center, Assoc. Prof. Tsutsui was in charge of a topic of Summer Research Trial for Elementary and Junior-High Students, with Dr. Yuki Arikawa (NTT) and Prof. Jaehoon Yu (Osaka University). The topic was “Calculator design using logic ICs – Let’s make your own calculator”. The topic and its content is same as the previous version, which was organized by Prof. Takeshi Matsumoto (Ishikawa National College of Technology) and Dr. Kohei Hosokawa (NEC).
On Dec. 13th, IEICE-ESS Practice Seminar for Scholarly Publishing was held at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Prof. Miyanaga gave a lecture in this seminar with Prof. Akira Taguchi (Tokyo City University) and Prof. Takao Onoye (Osaka University).
A technical lecture related to cryptographic system implementations was given by Prof. Thanos Stouraitis from University of Patras, Greece.

In 2014 International Workshop on Smart Info-Media Systems in Asia (SISA 2014) held at Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Masahito Umehara presented our research achievement.
Assoc. Prof. Tsutsui received IEICE ESS Contribution Award (Technical Committee Steering) for contribution on the activities and operations of Smart Info-Media System Technical Committee. The ceremony was held at the Society Conference, which was held in the University of Tokushima.
Mr. Umehara presented our research achievements at Smart Info-media Systems (SIS) Technical Committee (TC) Conference held in Hokkaido University Centennial Hall on 10th July. This TC Conference was cosponsored by SIS-TC and TCs from System and Signal Processing Sub-Society (SSP) which includes Circuits and Systems (CAS), VLSI Design Technologies (VLD), Signal Processing (SIP), and Mathematical Systems Science and Its Applications (MSS). Assoc. Prof. Tsutsui served as one of local organizers.
The following paper presented in the last year’s ITC-CSCC (2013) won a best paper award.
