Lab tour for 3rd-year undergraduate students, 2017

Lab tour is available for 3rd-year undergraduate students.

  • Venue: IST Building 11th floor 11-13
    (Laboratory of Information Communication Networks)
  • Schedule: In the following time slots, M1 students are available for introducing our laboratory. The representatives of M1 students are Mr. Nakagoshi and Mr. Watanabe. We welcome your visit not limited to the following time slots.

2017 Joint Convention, the Hokkaido Chapters of the Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers

Mr. Watanabe presented his paper at 2017 Joint Convention, the Hokkaido Chapters of the Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers, which was held at Future University Hakodate on Oct 28th-28th. In this paper, we presented an implementation approach to avoid memory conflicts of parallel processing to realize high throughput LDPC decoding.

A student exchange meeting was held during this convention. Students of each university made presentations about their university, research activity, and student activity. Mr. Watanabe who is the member of IEEE student branch at Hokkaido university introduced the activity of the student branch.

Hokkokai (北工会) Sports Day 2017

The annual Sports Day was held on 30 June. Our division was 8th place from the 14 competing divisions. The result can be found here but in Japanese.

“Campus Clean Day” 2017

Today, we participated “Campus Clean Day” of Hokkaido University. This event originally scheduled on May 9 but postponed to May 18 due to weather condition.

Welcome Party for New Undergraduate Students to Media and Network Technologies Course

On May 9, welcome party for new undergraduate students who joined to our Media and Network Technologies Course was held. From our laboratory, Dr. Hiroshi Tsutsui and B4 students attended the party.

On Apr 25, we enjoyed a welcome party for laboratory new members, Ms. Jiayue Tang and Ms. Natalia Olegovna Kudrina.

On 23 Mar, we had a farewell party.

Degree Conferral Ceremony and Graduation Party 2017 (JFY 2016)

On Mar 23, the degree conferral ceremony of Course/Division of Media Network Technologies was held. Graduation celebration party was also held at 11-17, IST Building.
